The teaching contained in a single book has the potential of reaching a large number of people. This is especially true in Africa where pastors and Bible teachers are using the material in their ministries to teach others. A Bible teacher in Zambia writes:
“I thank you for your ministry of distributing Christian literature to us in Africa. As you know, I am involved in training men and women who are involved in leadership to handle the Word of God. The books that were sent to me are tools I am using for my teaching. I have three classes of an average number fifteen in each class. These people come from 19 different local churches and they in turn impact the knowledge they receive to others. Through the Light To My Path books, the Lord is touching many lives.”
Consider this for a moment. This one Bible teacher is using the Light To My Path Commentaries to teach 45 students. They in turn are going back to 19 local churches to share the knowledge they received from him. If each of these churches had an attendance of 50 people (very modest for Africa) than the teaching of that one single book would be reaching 950 people!! We have no way of telling the impact that one book can have for the sake of the kingdom of God.
