Some letter I receive stand out more than others. One such letter came from a man in Ethiopia. What was particularly strange about the letter was that when I opened up the envelope the letter itself was written on a piece of paper the shape of a foot. The letter read:
“This is my first letter. I am happy to share to you. I am a servant in my church. I am poor and needy. I love reading but I cannot afford to buy books. Please stand with my dream and send me some in the coming years. I intend to learn theology. Pray for this. I send my foot trace. Send me even if it be second hand shoes.”
This man had traced his foot on a piece of paper sent me the cut out so that I could find him a pair of second hand shoes. Books for men such as this are precious indeed.
